Welcome 1st year graduate students to UNC! We are recruiting students for our lab this fall! Please contact either Professor Meyer (firstname.lastname@example.org) and/or graduate student Quentin Loague (email@example.com) directly to schedule rotations in our lab and attend group meetings. Stay Excited!
Congrats to Dr. Rachel Bangle on her recent publication in the ECS Journal of Solid State Science and Technology in it’s special issue in honor of John Goodenough!
Dr. Niklas Keller recently joined the Meyer lab in December 2021. He comes to us from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, where he worked with a previous Meyer lab postdoc, Dr. Jenny Schneider. In our lab, he will be exploring the effect of excited state localization within Ru-complexes on the cage escape yields of halide oxidation. Welcome Niklas!

Our own Michael Turlington successfully defended his thesis this April! We wish him well in the next phase of his career and will miss him greatly!
Erica’s paper was published! Find it here. “Efficiency Considerations for SnO2 Based Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells”
Andrew’s paper was published! Find it here. “Stark Spectroscopic Evidence that a Spin Change Accompanies Light Absorption in Transition Metal Polypyridyl Complexes”
Our own Andrew Maurer successfully defended his thesis on April 8! We wish him well in the next phase of his career and will miss him greatly!
Our own Erica James successfully defended her thesis on April 1! We wish her well in the next phase of her career and will miss her greatly!
